Delta Air to Launch Seasonal Flights from Minneapolis to Maui

Delta Air has announced plans to introduce seasonal flights from Minneapolis to Maui, Hawaii, offering travelers the opportunity to escape the winter and experience the beauty of the tropical island.

Scheduled to operate from December 16 to March 31, 2024, the flights will utilize Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with a seating capacity of 226. This includes 25 lie-flat seats in Delta One, 29 seats in Delta Comfort+, and 171 seats in the main cabin.

Departing from Minneapolis at 9:50 a.m. local time, the flights will arrive in Maui at 2:15 p.m. local time. Return flights will depart Maui at 3:15 p.m. and arrive in Minneapolis at 11:10 p.m. local time.

Delta emphasized that these flights will provide customers with convenient connections to over 100 destinations across the United States and Canada from its hub in Minneapolis. The airline also highlighted its commitment to enhanced health and safety measures onboard, including mandatory face masks, electrostatic spraying, and HEPA air filters.

Maui, the second-largest island in Hawaii, is renowned for its sun, sand, and surf, attracting tourists with its various attractions such as Haleakala National Park, Lahaina Historic Town, Iao Valley State Park, and Molokini Crater.

As the leading carrier at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, Delta operates more than 400 daily flights to over 150 destinations. In addition to the newly announced Minneapolis-Maui route, the airline already serves Honolulu, Kona, and Lihue in Hawaii from Minneapolis.
