Delta Airlines has taken a significant step in expanding its presence by recently opening 13 new gates at Salt Lake City International Airport, bringing the total number of gates operated by Delta to an impressive 50. This expansion is part of the airport’s ambitious SDF Next Program, aimed at enhancing sustainability and efficiency.

These new gates are strategically located on the eastern section of Concourse A, a sprawling 900,000-square-foot facility that first opened its doors in September 2020. Concourse A boasts a range of passenger-centric amenities, including exterior cameras, Bluetooth audio connectivity, complimentary high-speed internet, larger overhead storage bins, upgraded seating options, and captivating LED mood lighting.

Adding to the passenger experience, Concourse A houses the newly established Delta Need Help Center, where travelers can receive expert travel assistance from Delta’s dedicated agents. The center is well-equipped with self-service kiosks, informational monitors, and on-site printing services. Additionally, it offers a dedicated phone line connecting passengers directly to Delta’s customer service team.

As part of the expanded offerings, Concourse A now boasts an array of 19 new dining and shopping outlets, providing passengers with a diverse range of culinary delights and shopping options. Some of the exciting choices include Salt Lake Pizza & Pasta, Shake Shack, Hip & Humble, and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

Delta’s expansion at Salt Lake City International Airport not only enhances the airport’s capacity and passenger experience but also reinforces Delta’s commitment to providing top-quality services and connections for travelers.
