Delta flyer thanks crew who helped him survive heart attack

Delta Air Lines shared the reunion between Scott McCulloch and three flight attendants who helped him when he suffered a heart attack during a flight, an emotional event set in motion when McCulloch wrote to CEO Ed Bastian asking for help in identifying the flight crew. Flight attendant Shayna Huertas credited her rigorous training for preparing her to handle the medical emergency. “Assess the situation, you need to communicate with your crew, you need to let the pilots know what’s going on and you need to figure out how to help your passenger,” she said.
