Delta refreshes onboard food & beverage offering
Delta has refreshed its onboard food and beverage offering. The new menu features the return of the Delta One dessert cart, as well as espresso martinis, premium rosé wine, plant-based cheesesteak and seasonally inspired items.
Delta’s extensive food and beverage offering also includes Du Nord Social Spirits, a variety of vegetarian menu options in partnership with Impossible Foods, partnerships with three James Beard Award-winning chefs and elevated onboard wine offerings with Imagery Estate Winery led by award-winning female winemaker Jamie Benziger.
Regional touches have been added to the refreshed menu and include items such as traditional afternoon tea and tapas to pre-arrival menu selections.
Kristen Manion Taylor, SVP of In-Flight Service at Delta commented: “Your onboard meal or beverage should be no different than your go-to restaurant at home, and that’s why we’re constantly reinventing our onboard service at Delta – we always want to surprise and delight our customers with seasonal and fresh menu options. From delicious Spanish tapas plates to refreshing rosé, there is something new for everyone to enjoy.”
As one of the exciting additions to the refreshed menu, Delta has revealed it is bringing back its Delta One dessert cart on international flights which includes plated desserts, fruit and cheese plates and a build-your-own ice cream sundae.
Varied drinks offering
Regarding new wines, Delta is offering La Fête du Rosé which is a premium rosé label produced by La Fête Wine Company in partnership with the prestigious winemakers of Château Saint-Maur. The choice is available to Delta One customers on select flights.
When it comes to cocktails, Tip Top Proper Cocktails’ Espresso Martini is a strong and smooth cocktail made in partnership with Counter Culture Coffee. Delta says Tip Top has been Delta’s onboard cocktail partner since 2021 and the brand will now be bringing more cocktail flavours in a rotational programme on board. The programme will start with the Espresso Martini and Old Fashioned, available on select domestic and international flights from March.
