Delta to Stream Free Crunchyroll Anime on Flights

Delta Air Lines is teaming up with Crunchyroll to bring popular anime content to the skies, offering passengers free access as part of its in-flight entertainment lineup later this year.
Through the partnership, Delta SkyMiles members will be able to stream anime directly on their personal devices via the Delta Sync Wi-Fi platform. The collaboration will also include an exclusive free trial of Crunchyroll, giving travelers the chance to explore its full library beyond their flight.
Crunchyroll, known for its vast collection of hit series such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Spy x Family, and Attack on Titan, will curate a rotating selection of shows for Delta passengers. While Delta already offers a wide variety of entertainment on seatback screens and personal devices, this move expands its content offerings to meet growing demand for Japanese animation among global audiences.
The initiative aligns with Delta’s strategy to enhance the passenger experience through partnerships with leading content providers and expanded in-flight connectivity. By integrating Crunchyroll into Delta Sync, the airline aims to give travelers a richer, more personalized entertainment experience—whether on short domestic hops or long-haul international routes.
More details on the exact launch date, available titles, and length of the Crunchyroll trial are expected in the coming months.
