Denver hotel property owner wants bankruptcy protection

The co-owner of the Nativ Hotel in downtown Denver says he plans to part company with the building that houses it, though the 14-room hotel is not affected by a foreclosure action against the building’s proprietor. The four-story building’s owner, KDA Properties LLC, is seeking bankruptcy protection in hopes of slowing the foreclosure process.
