Denver International Airport is embarking on ambitious long-term expansion plans that are set to transform the facility by 2045. These plans include the addition of four concourses, along with the introduction of 100 new gates. In recent years, the airport has already made significant strides in expansion, successfully incorporating 39 new gates into its infrastructure. Notably, many of these gates have been leased to major carriers such as United Airlines and Southwest Airlines, contributing to the airport’s continued growth and capacity.

Meanwhile, Salt Lake International Airport is taking steps to enhance its own facilities. The airport is set to unveil the east wing of Terminal A, which includes the introduction of 13 brand-new gates. This development is a testament to the airport’s commitment to improving passenger experiences and increasing capacity. Furthermore, Salt Lake International Airport has additional expansion plans in the pipeline, including the expansion of Terminal B and the construction of a new Terminal C.

Both of these initiatives demonstrate these airports’ dedication to meeting the evolving needs of travelers and accommodating the increasing demand for air travel in the coming years.
