DOT dashboard showcases US airline travel policies

The US Transportation Department today debuted a website showcasing information on customer service policies of US airlines. Airlines for America said in a statement that its “carriers welcome opportunities to simplify travel policies, clarify existing practices and increase transparency for travelers.” A4A explained that while carriers publicize their customer service plans on individual websites, the new dashboard “gives travelers another platform to access that information.”
