Doubletree by Hilton is celebrating National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day on August 4 by offering free chocolate chip cookies to all guests and the general public at its U.S. hotels. Whether you prefer the classic warm chocolate chip cookie or need an allergy-free option, both will be available for visitors.

“Our chocolate chip cookie is a proud tradition, symbolizing the warm welcome and comfortable stay that the brand is known for,” said Shawn McAteer, brand leader at DoubleTree by Hilton. “We are excited to share our signature welcoming gesture beyond our guests to celebrate National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day this year, synonymous with the caring hospitality guests receive with every visit.”

Since its debut in 1986, the DoubleTree Cookie has become a global favorite, with over 20 million cookies enjoyed annually. The brand’s commitment to innovation and hospitality extends to various audiences, including bakers, astronauts, and travelers.

In 2019, DoubleTree by Hilton made history by sending its signature cookie to the International Space Station (ISS), marking the first food ever baked in space. Today, a sample of this iconic cookie is preserved in an air-tight exhibition box at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
