Dual-branded hotel coming to Funplex in N.J.

The Funplex amusement park in Mount Laurel Township, N.J., is expected to open a dual-branded hotel in spring 2023, in partnership with Wyndham Hotel and Resorts. The 125-room property will be divided into two brands — La Quinta by Wyndham and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham. Meanwhile, the park has been granted a liquor license and its water park has undergone a 40,000-square-foot expansion as part of the amusement park’s capital improvement plan.
