easyJet Moves to Buy Adria Tehnika MRO in Slovenia

easyJet has announced plans to acquire Adria Tehnika, a Slovenian maintenance, repair, and overhaul provider owned by Avia Prime, pending regulatory approval. The deal is expected to close in early 2026 and represents a significant step in the airline’s strategy to expand its in-house maintenance capabilities.
Adria Tehnika operates a five-bay hangar at Ljubljana Airport, where it performs base maintenance for a range of Airbus and regional aircraft. easyJet said it intends to invest further in the site to support future growth and enhance operational reliability across its fleet. The companies have an established working relationship, having renewed a five-year strategic partnership in 2021.
By acquiring Adria Tehnika, easyJet aims to strengthen control over key technical operations, reduce reliance on third-party MRO providers, and improve long-term cost efficiency as it continues to scale its European network.
