Economist predicts strong Q2, year for construction starts

Richard Branch, chief economist for Dodge Construction Network, expects construction starts to rebound in the second quarter, with a 9% increase in construction starts for the year. Educational, retail, office and hotel construction are expected to recover nicely, and warehouse construction will remain a “Goliath,” Branch said.
