Embraer Leads Rise in Global Business Jet Deliveries

Business jet deliveries climbed in the first half of the year, with Embraer emerging as the fastest-growing manufacturer, according to new data from the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). The Brazilian planemaker recorded a 36 percent increase in deliveries compared to the same period last year, reflecting strong demand for its Praetor and Phenom series jets across both private and corporate markets.

Gulfstream Aerospace and Textron Aviation also posted solid gains, driven by deliveries of their G500/G600 and Citation jets respectively. Industry analysts say the uptick highlights a broader rebound in business aviation as companies and high-net-worth travelers continue to value the flexibility and time savings offered by private flying.

GAMA’s figures underscore how the sector is benefiting from a mix of replacement demand, new entrants to private aviation, and strong order backlogs built up during the pandemic. Manufacturers are responding with refreshed models, enhanced cabin features, and improved fuel efficiency to meet customer expectations for comfort and sustainability.

The business jet market has proven resilient despite economic uncertainties, and rising deliveries indicate confidence in the long-term outlook. Embraer’s performance in particular reflects its success in offering jets that bridge the gap between light and midsize categories, appealing to operators looking for cost-effective range and performance.

With Gulfstream and Textron also accelerating production, the first half of the year points to continued momentum in global business aviation, suggesting that manufacturers are on track for a strong full-year performance.
