Embraer achieved a record third-quarter performance in 2025, posting revenue of $2.0 billion—up 18% year-on-year—driven by strong results in its Commercial Aviation and Defense & Security segments. The Brazilian aerospace manufacturer delivered 62 aircraft during the quarter, including 20 commercial jets, 41 executive jets, and one KC-390 Millennium, marking a 5% annual increase.

The company’s firm order backlog reached an all-time high of $31.3 billion, up 38% from the same period in 2024. Commercial Aviation revenue rose 31% to $618 million, supported by higher volumes and improved pricing. The Defense & Security segment grew 27% to $278 million, reflecting increased KC-390 deliveries and a one-time contract adjustment.

Executive Aviation revenue climbed 4% to $583 million, while Services & Support grew 16% to $493 million, aided by expanded maintenance capacity and OGMA’s new GTF engine facility in Portugal.

Embraer reported an adjusted EBIT of $172 million with an 8.6% margin, while adjusted net income stood at $54 million. Free cash flow, excluding Eve Air Mobility, totaled $300 million. The company ended the quarter with $1.67 billion in cash and reduced net debt to $439 million.

Credit agencies have upgraded Embraer’s outlook, with S&P assigning a BBB rating and Fitch and Moody’s revising to positive. The company reaffirmed its 2025 guidance, projecting revenue between $7 and $7.5 billion, an EBIT margin of up to 8.3%, and deliveries of up to 240 aircraft.
