Embraer Targets 280 Deliveries in 2025

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer is poised for a major ramp-up in jet deliveries in 2025, with ambitious plans to hit up to 280 deliveries throughout the year. In a detailed financial disclosure on February 28, 2025, the company announced record revenues for 2024, reaching $6.39 billion—a notable 21% increase compared to 2023 figures. This financial milestone sets the stage for even higher revenue growth in 2025, with Embraer forecasting a revenue range between $7 billion and $7.5 billion.
Embraer’s strong financial performance in 2024 was underscored by an impressive $708.2 million in Adjusted EBIT, which was 11% higher than the upper end of the revised guidance of $640 million. This robust earnings result, combined with a surge in aircraft deliveries, positions the company for further expansion in both commercial and executive aviation sectors.
Looking ahead to the coming year, Embraer plans to deliver between 77 and 85 commercial aircraft. In 2024, the company achieved a 14% increase in commercial deliveries by shipping 73 planes compared to 64 in 2023. This momentum is expected to continue as Embraer works to meet growing global demand for efficient and modern airliners.
In its executive aviation segment, Embraer has set its sights on an even more aggressive delivery target, aiming to ship between 145 and 155 aircraft in 2025. The past year saw a 13% jump in private jet deliveries, with 130 units delivered in 2024, up from 115 in 2023. Overall, Embraer delivered a total of 206 aircraft in 2024—including three C-390 Millennium military transports—compared to 181 aircraft in 2023, marking a significant boost in production capacity and market penetration.
The company’s outlook is further buoyed by recent industry moves. Earlier this week, All Nippon Airways (ANA) revealed plans to introduce up to 77 new aircraft into its fleet. Notably, ANA announced its first-ever order to incorporate Embraer E-Jets into its network, with a planned order for 20 E190-E2 aircraft—comprising 15 firm orders and five options. This development highlights the growing global demand for Embraer’s innovative aircraft solutions.
In an interview with Reuters, Embraer CEO Francisco Gomes Neto expressed optimism about the future, stating, “We see 2025 as even better than 2024 in all aspects. Maybe we won’t hit the same sales levels because of that huge Flexjet contract, which is not something we see every year, but we expect a very good year in terms of sales.” This positive sentiment is underpinned by a $7 billion order placed by Flexjet on February 5, 2025, for 182 executive aircraft along with 30 options, a deal that included orders for the Phenom 300E light jets as well as larger Praetor 500 and 600 models.
Embraer’s proactive approach in both commercial and executive aviation segments reinforces its position as a global leader in aircraft manufacturing. With its record revenues, expanding delivery numbers, and strategic partnerships with major airline operators, Embraer is well positioned to capitalize on growing air travel demand. The company’s aggressive targets for 2025 reflect its commitment to innovation and efficiency, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of the aviation industry in a highly competitive global market.
