Embraer’s Phenom 300 model has claimed the title of the world’s best-selling light jet for an impressive 12th consecutive year, as confirmed by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) on February 21. Throughout 2023, Embraer successfully delivered 63 Phenom 300 jets, contributing to a total of more than 730 units delivered over the last decade. These jets are now operating across 40 countries, amassing over 2 million flight hours. Notably, the Phenom 300 has become the most frequently flown business aircraft in the United States, recording more than 360,000 flights over the past year.

Michael Amalfitano, President and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets, expressed pride in the Phenom 300 series’ enduring success, highlighting Embraer’s commitment to excellence in business aviation through superior performance, advanced technology, comfort, and customer support. Embracing customer feedback and industry trends, Embraer continues to innovate, introducing enhancements such as a new autothrottle feature on the Phenom 300E, alongside a modernized interior and the Garmin G3000 flight deck.

Between July 2022 and June 2023, the Phenom 300E led the market with 360,790 flights, surpassing the Cessna Citation Excel in operational frequency, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This trend has sustained, with the Embraer jet remaining the most operated business jet in subsequent months.

The Phenom 300E’s appeal is attributed to its remarkable performance capabilities, including a long range of 2,010 nautical miles, a maximum speed of 464 knots, and a service ceiling of 45,000 feet, powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW525E engines. Despite seating fewer passengers and having a slightly shorter range compared to competitors, the Phenom 300E’s competitive acquisition cost has solidified its position as the premier light jet globally.
