Emirates is set to revolutionize air travel between the Middle East and South America with the introduction of its new daily flights connecting Dubai to Bogotá, Colombia, starting June 3. This landmark service not only bridges the United Arab Emirates with Colombia but also marks the first direct air link between the broader Middle East region and the northern part of South America.

Expanding its footprint in South America, Emirates adds Bogotá to its existing destinations of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires, bringing its South American gateway count to four. Additionally, this service further strengthens Emirates’ presence in the Americas, extending its reach to 19 cities across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and now Colombia.

Featuring a unique route via Miami, Emirates will offer unprecedented premium services on this highly sought-after path between South Florida and Colombia, making it a first for the airline industry.

Emirates Airline President, Sir Tim Clark, highlighted the strategic significance of this new route: “Launching flights to Bogotá has been a goal for us, reflecting our commitment to enhancing global connectivity, providing greater travel options, and delivering exceptional experiences both on the ground and in-flight. Initiating daily services to Colombia’s vibrant capital demonstrates our ongoing dedication to the South American market and promises to boost business and leisure travel for our customers.”

Clark expressed gratitude towards all the authorities for their support in making this new route feasible and anticipates fostering valuable connections to serve and promote tourism and commerce within these newly served communities.
