Emirates Expands Boeing 777 Routes to Seoul and Stansted
Emirates is set to broaden its global network by deploying its newly retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft on routes to Seoul Incheon Airport and London-Stansted Airport. The airline, known for its innovative enhancements and four-class service, recently introduced its first upgraded B777 on the route to Geneva Airport in August 2024. Now, the carrier is building on that success by adding two more key destinations to its network.
The new enhanced B777 aircraft, which feature state-of-the-art cabin upgrades and improved passenger amenities, will begin servicing Seoul starting April 14, 2025. Flights will operate on routes EK324 and EK325 between Dubai International Airport and Seoul, running three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This marks Seoul as the second East Asian destination to benefit from Emirates’ advanced retrofitting program for its Boeing 777 fleet, following the recent launch in Geneva.
In addition to Seoul, Emirates has also announced plans to serve London-Stansted, with the upgraded aircraft commencing service on May 7, 2025. London-Stansted will join London-Heathrow and Edinburgh as part of Emirates’ network of UK destinations served by the four-class Boeing 777. This move is expected to enhance connectivity between the Middle East and the United Kingdom, offering travelers an improved level of comfort and service on long-haul flights.
By July 2025, Emirates’ retrofitted B777 will be ready to serve several major Asian cities. The airline has confirmed that passengers will be able to fly nonstop to Tokyo-Narita, Tokyo-Haneda, and Osaka Itami, as well as Singapore Changi and Shenzhen Bao’an. These new routes will complement the existing services and expand Emirates’ presence in Asia, a region that continues to see robust growth in air travel demand.
The enhanced B777 is designed to provide a superior travel experience with its modernized cabin, which includes improved seating, advanced in-flight entertainment options, and a refined dining experience.
