Emirates Launches Daily Flights to Shenzhen from Dubai

Emirates has inaugurated daily nonstop flights from Dubai International Airport to Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, marking a significant expansion of its services in mainland China. The first flight, EK328, arrived in Shenzhen on July 1, 2025, and was welcomed by city officials, Emirates executives, and members of the media. Passengers on the inaugural journey received commemorative gifts and certificates to celebrate the new route.
This launch makes Shenzhen the fourth Chinese city served by Emirates, joining Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. The airline now operates 42 weekly flights across these key cities, highlighting its continued commitment to the Chinese market. The Shenzhen route is operated with a retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft featuring a four-class configuration. The aircraft offers eight private suites in First Class, 40 lie-flat seats in Business Class with direct aisle access, 24 seats in Premium Economy, and 260 in Economy Class.
Flight EK328 departs Dubai at 10:05 local time and arrives in Shenzhen at 22:00 local time. The return flight, EK329, leaves Shenzhen at 23:55 and lands in Dubai at 03:40 the following day. Shenzhen becomes the first city in mainland China to be served by Emirates’ upgraded Boeing 777-300ER, offering an enhanced experience for travelers across all classes.
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, noted that the new service aligns with the airline’s broader strategy to deepen ties between China and the UAE. He emphasized the importance of Shenzhen as a hub for innovation and trade, particularly within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The new route not only strengthens bilateral relations but also enhances connectivity for travelers and businesses operating between the two economic powerhouses.
