Emirates launches downtown Dubai check-in and debuts robot check-in assistant

Emirates has launched a new downtown Dubai city check-in, complete with a bag drop service, for its customers. Located at the ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai International Financial Centre, the center allows Emirates’ customers to book travel, check-in for flights, drop luggage, and shop for travel essentials before heading to the airport.

With bags checked and check-in complete, passengers can arrive at the airport closer to their flight departure time. The center is ideal for those who have flights later in the day and want to explore Dubai without their luggage. Passengers can reach the airport via taxi, Emirates chauffeur service, or a short walk to Financial Centre Metro Station connecting into the Airport Terminal 3 Metro Station.

Emirates is also introducing ‘Sara,’ a portable robot that can check passengers in and guide them to the luggage drop area. The city check-in is open daily from 08:00 to 22:00, and bags can be dropped up to four hours before flights.
