Emirates Posts Record $5.1B Profit in FY 2024–25

Emirates has reported its strongest financial performance to date, posting a record profit of AED 18.7 billion (US$ 5.1 billion) for the fiscal year 2024–25. This historic result was driven by strong global travel demand, expanded operations, and a robust performance across key markets.
Passenger traffic surged to 51.9 million, reflecting a 19% year-over-year increase. The airline restored seat capacity to 95% of pre-pandemic levels and, by the end of the fiscal year, was operating passenger services to 151 destinations in 85 countries across six continents. Emirates capitalized on high demand and strong load factors while maintaining its reputation as a premier long-haul carrier.
Fleet growth and modernization continue to be a core part of the airline’s strategy. Emirates’ current active fleet includes:
- 8 Airbus A350-900 (with 57 more on order)
- 107 Airbus A380-800 (8 inactive)
- 1 Airbus ACJ319
- 2 Boeing 747-400SF
- 11 Boeing 777-200F/LR (with 11 more on order)
- 10 Boeing 777-200LR
- 119 Boeing 777-300ER
- 0 Boeing 777-8 (35 on order)
- 0 Boeing 777-9 (170 on order)
- 0 Boeing 787-10 (15 on order)
- 0 Boeing 787-8 (15 on order)
This diverse and expanding fleet underpins Emirates’ global network, which is nearly fully restored. The airline is investing in new-generation aircraft to support long-term sustainability and efficiency goals while meeting growing demand across all markets.
Emirates is also scheduled to participate in the 2025 Routes World event in Hong Kong, where it will join global carriers and airport leaders to explore further route development and strengthen international connectivity.
