Princess Cruises has expanded its lineup of total solar eclipse voyages with the addition of a new 14-day “Mediterranean & Adriatic with Total Solar Eclipse” sailing aboard Enchanted Princess. Departing Civitavecchia (Rome) on August 4, 2026, this itinerary blends a once-in-a-lifetime astronomical event with a scenic tour of Southern Europe’s storied coastlines. Guests will witness the August 12 solar eclipse from the ship’s upper decks before exploring cultural treasures ashore.

The voyage begins in Rome, where passengers embark and dine al fresco under the Italian sun. After a day at sea, Enchanted Princess calls on Naples, the gateway to Pompeii and the Bay of Naples’ storied vistas. From there, the ship heads to Kotor, Montenegro, winding through its dramatic fjord-like bay and medieval walls. Dubrovnik, Croatia, follows, inviting travelers to walk ancient city walls that overlook the Adriatic’s sapphire waters.
