Etihad Airways is set to enhance its presence in India with the introduction of services to Jaipur, marking its 11th destination in the country, as part of its northern hemisphere summer schedule expansions. This strategic move, commencing June 16 from its Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) hub, emphasizes the significance of the Indian market and aims to capitalize on AUH’s role as a vital connecting hub. The airline will deploy an Airbus A320 for the 4X-weekly flights to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, showcasing its commitment to catering to the growing demand and fostering stronger cultural and economic ties between India and the UAE.

In addition to the Jaipur service, Etihad Airways is also launching flights to Antalya, Turkïye, starting the same week, further broadening its network. This new route to the popular Turkish resort city will operate 3X-weekly, also utilizing an Airbus A320.

The expansion does not stop with new destinations; Etihad Airways is also set to increase frequencies on five key routes from AUH. Starting June 15, the airline will enhance its services to several destinations, including Thiruvananthapuram in India, Amman in Jordan, Cairo in Egypt, Colombo in Sri Lanka, and Karachi in Pakistan. These adjustments will see service frequencies rise significantly, demonstrating Etihad’s flexible strategy to meet the dynamic demands of its global customer base.

This robust expansion plan is a testament to Etihad Airways’ ambitious growth strategy, with the airline operating 847 weekly flights in the upcoming summer schedule—a 33% increase from the previous summer. Moreover, the number of destinations served will jump from 65 last summer to 75, indicating Etihad’s commitment to offering more travel options and connecting more destinations worldwide.

Through these strategic network enhancements, Etihad Airways is set to solidify its position as a leading global carrier, offering passengers more choices and convenience for their travel needs, while continuing to strengthen the bonds between the UAE and its key markets, especially India.
