Etihad Airways restored its third Airbus A380

Etihad Airways’ third Airbus A380, registered as A6-APH, has successfully returned from storage at Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrenees Airport, France, flying back to its hub at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH), United Arab Emirates (UAE). The aircraft’s restoration marks the third A380 to be brought back by the airline so far. With a plan to relaunch commercial flights on July 15, 2023, the A380 will offer daily flights between AUH and London Heathrow Airport (LHR). Etihad Airways’ A380s, featuring luxurious amenities like “The Residence,” are poised to compete with other airlines that have also reintroduced the Airbus A380 to service, bringing the total active A380 count to 133 with nine airlines worldwide.
