EVA Air is set to expand its U.S. network in 2025 with the introduction of a new route to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), further strengthening its presence in North America. Starting November 3, 2025, the Taiwanese airline will operate five weekly flights between Taipei Taoyuan International Airport and Dallas, marking its second destination in Texas and increasing its U.S. route network to seven cities.

The new Dallas route will complement EVA Air’s existing services to major U.S. cities, including three daily flights to Los Angeles and San Francisco, and 10 weekly roundtrips to Seattle. The airline also operates daily flights to Chicago O’Hare, Houston George Bush, and New York John F. Kennedy airports. The expansion to Dallas will make Taipei the 11th nonstop destination served from DFW in the Asia-Pacific region, joining other key cities such as Auckland, Brisbane, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Seoul Incheon, Shanghai Pudong, Tokyo Haneda, and Tokyo Narita.

EVA Air’s choice of Dallas as a new destination highlights its strategic importance. According to EVA Air General Manager Sun Jiaming, Dallas is the world’s third-busiest airport and a key hub for the high-tech industries and businesses moving to Texas. With North America being EVA’s third-largest international market, accounting for about 17% of its capacity in November 2024, the new route aligns with the airline’s growth strategy in the region.

This expansion is supported by the ongoing growth of EVA Air’s fleet. The airline is set to receive six Boeing 787s in early 2025, bringing its fleet to a total of 90 aircraft. The new additions will include 12 787-9s, five 787-10s, as well as 18 Airbus A350-1000s and 15 A321neos. This fleet expansion will enable EVA Air to meet growing demand and further solidify its position in the competitive North American market.

The launch of the Dallas-Fort Worth route is part of EVA Air’s broader network expansion strategy, which aims to enhance connectivity between Asia and North America. With a focus on providing high-quality service and connecting key business and tourism hubs, the airline continues to strengthen its presence in the U.S., offering more travel options for both leisure and business travelers.

EVA Air’s new service to Dallas will begin in November 2025, offering more opportunities for passengers traveling between Taipei and the U.S. This expansion is a testament to EVA Air’s commitment to providing convenient, efficient, and reliable air travel options for passengers flying to and from North America.
