Eve Air Mobility agreements

Eve Air Mobility, a leading player in the electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft industry, has recently signed promising Letters of Intent (LOIs) with multiple companies, paving the way for agreements involving up to 150 cutting-edge eVTOL aircraft.

The first exciting announcement came on June 20, 2023, when Eve partnered with Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC), a renowned regional aircraft lessor. NAC is set to acquire 15 eVTOLs initially, with an option for an additional 15, all of which will be leased to fleet operators. Norman C.T. Liu, NAC’s President, and CEO expressed enthusiasm, highlighting the significance of this LOI in their ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy and their commitment to bring innovative and sustainable solutions to the market.

Following the NAC collaboration, Eve extended its partnership with Widerøe Zero, an ambitious company seeking to revolutionize the aviation industry. The agreement entails up to 50 eVTOLs, along with a comprehensive service and operation solutions package, along with the implementation of Eve’s cutting-edge Urban Air Traffic Management (Urban ATM) software solution. This expansion builds upon the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Eve and Widerøe Zero in 2021 during the UN Climate Conference (COP26), aimed at advancing eVTOL operations in Scandinavia. Andre Stein, Co-CEO of Eve, emphasized that this additional LOI underscores their dedication to introducing sustainable, safe, and affordable urban air travel to the region.

Not stopping there, Eve also entered into a significant LOI with Voar Aviation, a prominent general aviation service company, to explore the sale and purchase of 70 eVTOL aircraft for deployment in multiple locations across Brazil. The agreement also explores a potential partnership where Voar can leverage Eve’s agnostic Urban Air Mobility (UAM) service and operation solutions. It’s worth noting that this prospective eVTOL sale is already included in Eve’s impressive current order backlog, boasting up to 2,770 eVTOLs.

Voar’s vision is to operate in major metropolitan areas and popular tourist destinations in Brazil, including Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Goiania, Vitoria, Florianopolis, Camboriu, Fortaleza, Natal, Recife, and Salvador. Both Co-CEO of Eve and CEO of Voar expressed excitement about this partnership, marking a significant milestone in advancing the future of air mobility and providing essential infrastructure for this new mode of transportation.

Eve Air Mobility’s achievements are fortified by the solid backing of Embraer’s extensive 50-year history of aerospace expertise, further fueling the optimism for the future of sustainable urban air travel.
