Evolution Airways Secures FAA Part 135 Certification, Expands Fleet

Evolution Airways has obtained its FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, allowing it to offer charter flight services in the United States. As part of its expansion, the airline has added two Citation jets under the new certification.
The first aircraft, a Citation I/SP (N501BB, msn 501-0087), is a 46-year-old jet configured for six passengers and based at Orlando Executive Airport. Originally registered in 1979, it was later exported to Canada before being reimported to the U.S. in 1994. The second jet, Citation (N501EJ, msn 500-0119), is 51.4 years old and has been stationed at Titusville Space Coast Regional Airport since completing a test flight on October 29, 2024.
With its Part 135 certification, Evolution Airways can now provide on-demand charter flights, offering greater flexibility for business and leisure travelers. The company’s expansion into executive jet services positions it for future growth in the private aviation sector.
As demand for private jet charters continues to rise, Evolution Airways aims to expand its fleet and service offerings, enhancing accessibility to efficient and convenient air travel.
