Executive Jet Charter, a prominent air charter service based in Gloucestershire, has officially retired its only Falcon 2000EX EASy, known by its registration G-LATE. The aircraft, a staple in the company’s luxury fleet for nearly two decades, was last operational on July 31, executing a flight from Cannes Mandelieu to Paris Le Bourget.

The 18.1-year-old jet, manufactured by Dassault Aviation, has been with Executive Jet Charter since 2015, serving a variety of high-profile routes and clients over the years. Post its final flight, G-LATE was parked at Paris Le Bourget, where it remained until its recent deregistration in the UK on December 3. The following day, it was re-registered in the Isle of Man as M-ATCH and transitioned to new Bermudan owners. However, it has yet to undertake any flights under the new registration, indicating a potential transitional period for the aircraft.

The retirement of the Falcon 2000EX marks a significant phase for Executive Jet Charter as it updates its fleet amidst changing market demands and operational priorities. Despite this change, the company continues to maintain a robust and diversified fleet. Under its UK Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC), Executive Jet Charter still operates a modern Falcon 7X, which remains a key part of its strategy to offer premium services to its clientele.

Additionally, the company’s fleet includes a Gulfstream G450 and G650ER, along with three helicopters, allowing for a wide range of service offerings from short regional hops to international luxury travel. This fleet composition demonstrates Executive Jet Charter’s commitment to providing versatile and high-standard services, ensuring that the retirement of the Falcon 2000EX does not impact the overall quality and availability of its offerings.

The retirement and transition of the Falcon 2000EX EASy highlight the dynamic nature of the aviation industry, where aircraft lifecycle management is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and service excellence. As the aircraft embarks on a new chapter with its Bermudan owners, Executive Jet Charter looks forward to continuing its tradition of excellence with a focus on modern, efficient aircraft that meet the evolving needs of their discerning clientele.
