Exjet Aviation Nears Part 135 Launch With Gulfstream GIV

Exjet Aviation has successfully completed its proving runs and is now awaiting final FAA approval to launch Part 135 operations for flights carrying more than 10 passengers, company president Jaime Torres announced on LinkedIn. The Florida-based operator will begin service with a Gulfstream GIV.
“After nearly two years of preparation, training, and teamwork, Exjet Aviation is proud to announce the successful completion of our proving runs… marking the final step toward obtaining our Part 135 certification,” Torres wrote on November 10. “Exjet Aviation is open for business.”
Torres also shared an image of the 33.6-year-old GIV, registered as N69FP (msn 1180), which has recently been operating out of Fort Lauderdale Executive, Miami Opa-Locka, and Orlando Executive airports. The aircraft had previously been flown only under private operations in the United States. Exjet’s website also lists a Challenger 350 and Hawker 4000 as part of its fleet offerings.
Exjet Aviation plans to provide a full suite of aviation services, including private jet charter, multiple jet card membership options, aircraft management, and aircraft sales.
The company operates under Part 135 certificate #9CSA421M, issued to Aviation Partners of Boynton Beach, LLC—formerly doing business as Sky Atlantic. The certificate, issued in February 2010, most recently covered three Beech 99 turboprops between 2018 and 2023, with no aircraft listed afterward.
ch-aviation has requested additional details from Torres and Exjet Aviation regarding the carrier’s official launch timeline and expansion plans but had not received a response at the time of publication.
