The Ben, Autograph Collection, has launched a new menu at its signature dining experience, Proper Grit in West Palm Beach. This menu marks the first culinary installment fully conceptualized under the hotel’s new executive chef, Jesse Pita.
The menu brings together gastropub favorites, prepared and elevated with unique and surprising flavor combinations and textures, are among the many noteworthy dishes guests will find at Proper Grit:
- Gratitude Farm mushroom bruschetta, with goat cheese cream, caramelized onion and preserved lemon on sourdough ($13)
- Braised short rib with cheesy grits, baby zucchini and crispy onion ($28)
- Sliders of philly cheesesteak, shrimp and slaw, and chicken and chile verde ($6 each)
- Grilled chicken ($12 small or $20 large)
- An entire menu section dedicated to mac & cheese, with add-on options of braised short rib, crispy cauliflower
The new, all-day menu can be enjoyed from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Proper Grit will continue to offer its popular, daily Happy Hour, with revolving drink specials from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and $4 bar bites from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., as well as breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., and weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A favorite spot among locals, Proper Grit features a menu of creatively-prepared gastropub culinary offerings, finished off with a fun and memorable presentation, and executed by executive chef Jesse Pita.
