Explora Journeys Offers Exclusive Preview Cruise on Explora III

Explora Journeys, the luxury ocean travel brand of MSC Group, has announced an exclusive preview sailing aboard its newest ship, Explora III. The special five-night voyage, titled “A Mediterranean Prelude to EXPLORA III,” gives guests a rare opportunity to experience the vessel before its official debut in 2026.

The intimate journey will depart from Genoa, Italy, on July 24, 2026, and conclude in Civitavecchia (Rome) on July 29. Guests will sail along the French and Italian Rivieras, visiting some of the Mediterranean’s most iconic ports, including Marseille, Saint-Tropez, Villefranche-sur-Mer, and Livorno — the gateway to Tuscany and Florence.

According to Explora Journeys, the preview cruise is designed as “an immersive behind-the-scenes experience,” allowing travelers to explore the ship alongside the visionaries, designers, and officers who brought it to life. Guests will enjoy exclusive interactions with the brand’s leadership team, led by President Anna Nash.

“This exclusive preview journey is our way of honoring those who have grown with us and believed in our vision from the beginning,” Nash said. “It’s a chance to step aboard Explora III before her official debut, meet the people behind her creation, and experience how our Ocean State of Mind philosophy continues to evolve.”

Explora III will be the first LNG-powered ship in the Explora Journeys fleet, underscoring MSC Group’s commitment to sustainable luxury travel. The ship will feature 463 oceanfront suites, penthouses, and residences — each with a private terrace — designed to deliver an elevated sense of space and tranquility.
