Explora Journeys, the luxury lifestyle arm of the MSC Group, has recently announced an exciting lineup of sailings for its ships, EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II, extending through April 2026. These journeys, carefully crafted to cater to a range of preferences, feature a variety of durations, from quick 6-8 night getaways to longer, immersive 19-21 night voyages. The cruises are set to depart from easily accessible homeports like Barcelona, Civitavecchia/Rome, Miami, and Bridgetown.

Designed to encourage a more relaxed pace of travel, these journeys allow guests ample time to fully immerse themselves in each destination. This is facilitated by overnight stays in ports, offering a deeper connection with local cultures and environments. Explora Journeys prides itself on providing guests with unique opportunities to explore cultural, historical, and culinary treasures in an authentic and extraordinary manner.

Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman of the Cruise Division at MSC Group, emphasized the high satisfaction levels of guests who have sailed with them, and the importance of incorporating their feedback into future planning. The new journeys have been refined to include regular 7-night itineraries and conveniently located homeports, addressing the needs of time-conscious travelers seeking meaningful experiences.

EXPLORA I’s itineraries from October 2024 to April 2025 have been revised to feature Caribbean sailings, supporting the brand’s growth in North America. The winter 2024-2025 season will commence with a grand journey from Barcelona to the Caribbean, calling at various exotic ports. From April to November 2025, EXPLORA I will cruise the Mediterranean, offering guests a taste of the region’s lifestyle, culture, and flavors. The winter of 2025-2026 will see the ship exploring the Red Sea and Arabian Peninsula, regions rich in history and culture.

EXPLORA II, set for her maiden journey from Barcelona to Civitavecchia, will visit a host of picturesque Mediterranean locales before transitioning to Caribbean journeys in November 2024. In May 2025, EXPLORA II will sail through the Western Mediterranean, followed by winter 2025
