Extended-stay driver Highgate creates Select arm

The select-service properties that predominate in Highgate Hotels’ portfolio have inspired the launch of Highgate Select, a new division focusing on select-service, limited-service and extended-stay modes. The New York City-based company’s 533 hotels include 320 acquired in two deals with partner Cerberus Capital Management over the past 12 months.
