Extraordinair Jets LLC has officially secured a FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, marking a significant milestone for the U.S.-based private jet operator. The certification, issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), allows the company to conduct on-demand charter flights, expanding its business aviation services.

With this approval, Extraordinair Jets has added its first aircraft under the new certification, a 21.4-year-old Citation Encore, registered as N535BP (msn 560-0646). The ch-aviation database indicates that the aircraft was previously operated privately in the United States and has frequently flown out of Iron Mountain/Kingsford Airport (IMT).

The FAA Part 135 certification is a crucial requirement for commercial charter operations, ensuring compliance with stringent safety and operational standards. This approval positions Extraordinair Jets to expand its fleet and charter services, catering to the growing demand for private jet travel.

The addition of the Citation Encore suggests a focus on light jet operations, ideal for short- to medium-haul charter routes. Industry experts anticipate that Extraordinair Jets may further grow its fleet, potentially adding mid-size and super-midsize jets to enhance its private aviation offerings.

With increasing demand for business and leisure private jet travel, Extraordinair Jets’ FAA certification marks a key step in its journey to becoming a recognized charter provider in the U.S. aviation market.
