FAA approves Johnson & Johnson vaccine for aviation industry
Following the Food and Drug Administration’s emergency use authorization of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, the Federal Aviation Administration has approved use of the vaccine by pilots and air traffic controllers. After taking the vaccine, which requires only one dose, aviation professionals must wait 48 hours before flying or controlling air traffic. The FAA previously approved the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for pilots and air traffic controllers as well.
