FAA proposes $161K in fines for 8 alcohol-related incidents

The Federal Aviation Administration has proposed $161,823 in fines against eight airline passengers for incidents involving drunkenness and consuming alcohol brought on board. The fines range from just over $8,000 to more than $40,000. The FAA had recorded over 5,000 unruly passenger incidents as of Nov. 16.
