FAA scales back NYC-area flights

The Federal Aviation Administration said staff shortages are causing it to reduce the number of flights to airports in the New York City area. The agency said arrivals and departures could be delayed by as much as two hours at John F. Kennedy International, LaGuardia and Newark Liberty International airports.
