Fairmont Hotel battle escalates in San Jose, Calif.

The owner of the San Jose, Calif., Fairmont Hotel is accusing the operator, lodging giant Accor Management US, of trying to sabotage reorganization of the property in order to ward off other managers. SC SJ Holdings made the claim in a lawsuit added to US Bankruptcy Court proceedings over the fate of the luxury hotel.
