Fast start fuels hotel plan for Ill. Hard Rock casino

Owners of the Hard Rock casino in Rockford, Ill., seek to build on the temporary attraction’s early success by adding a hotel to the permanent project, and city leaders say they’re all in. “I know it wasn’t planned, but I think for Hard Rock, for the city of Rockford as an organization and for our community, it’s a positive thing and I think now would be a great time to do it,” Mayor Tom McNamara said.
