A one-day COVID-19 testing window for passengers arriving in the US goes into effect on Dec. 6, and the face covering requirement for commercial flights has been extended through March 18. The tighter testing timeline “provides an added degree of public health protection as scientists continue to assess the Omicron variant,” the White House said.
