FedEx and UPS remained the world’s largest freight carriers in 2020 as pandemic-related demand and reduced passenger flights boosted their traffic by 12.3% and 11.9%, respectively, year over year. Atlas Air experienced a 20.7% jump in demand, benefiting from its e-commerce presence.
