Finalists Named for 2025 Global Startup Pitch Competition

Nineteen promising travel tech startups from around the world have been named finalists in the 2025 Global Startup Pitch, an annual competition produced by WiT and Phocuswright to spotlight early-stage innovation in travel. Now in its fourth year, the competition has gained global traction, drawing nearly 200 entries across four key regions: Asia Pacific, Europe, North America, and Emerging Markets.
This year marks a return to in-person pitching, with finalists set to compete on the Startup Stage at Phocuswright Europe in Barcelona on June 10. The event is supported by American Express Global Business Travel, a Phocuswright Strategic Partner of Innovation. A panel of international judges selected the finalists, with a special Wildcards category created to showcase groundbreaking, globally relevant ideas tackling next-generation travel challenges.
Startups are split into Seedups—under three years old and with less than $5 million raised—and Scaleups, which are three to eight years old and have raised under $10 million. Finalists will compete within their category and region, with nine winners advancing to WiT Singapore this October for a global showcase. The audience in Singapore will vote on a People’s Choice winner for both Seedup and Scaleup categories, which will then be featured at The Phocuswright Conference in San Diego this November.
Finalists include Plandora and Replyr from APAC; ImpersonAlly and SnapIQ from Europe; Levee and Traversing.ai from North America; Kijani Supplies and Tuki-Travel from Emerging Markets; and wildcard entries like Videreo and Me Protocol. Winners will also receive prizes such as ASEAN Explorer Passes from AirAsia MOVE and strategy sessions from Travel Again Advisory.
