Bombardier Challenger 3500

In a significant milestone for aviation enthusiasts, the first Bombardier Challenger 3500 business aircraft has made its way to Europe and is now under the ownership of Aviator Aircraft. The Nuremberg-based operator, Aero-Dienst, will take charge of managing the private jet, showcasing their expertise in the field.

The aircraft’s arrival was celebrated with a special ceremony in Montreal, attended by representatives from Aviator Aircraft and the entire Aero-Dienst technical acceptance team at the delivery center. Aero-Dienst played a crucial role throughout the process, overseeing completion, technical acceptance inspections, and the delivery of the brand-new jet. Additionally, they seamlessly integrated it into their commercial flight operations.

Aero-Dienst’s responsibilities also extended to ferrying the business jet from Canada to Germany. Ensuring compliance with German Civil Aviation Authority regulations, they successfully registered the aircraft and integrated it into their Air Operator Certificate (AOC).

The newly arrived Bombardier Challenger 3500 will be stationed at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport, conveniently located near Munich in southern Germany. Aviator Aircraft’s key accounts, along with the owner, will benefit from the aircraft’s operations.

Andreas Strabel, manager of Aircraft Sales, expressed his gratitude for the dedicated efforts of all involved in the delivery and commissioning process, which concluded with a smooth five-day acceptance procedure. He also expressed immense pride in being the operator of Europe’s first Challenger 3500.

With over 65 years of experience in maintaining and operating business jets, Aero-Dienst proves to be a reliable and capable partner for such a prestigious aircraft. The Challenger 3500 was officially unveiled by Bombardier during an event in Montreal on September 14, 2021.
