First Cessna Citation Longitude Sold in Brazil, Delivery Set for 2026

Textron Aviation has announced the first sale of a Cessna Citation Longitude super-midsize jet in Brazil, revealed on the opening day of the LABACE show in São Paulo. The undisclosed buyer already operates another Citation along with Cessna and Beechcraft turboprops. Delivery is planned for 2026.
According to Textron, the company held a 40% market share for competitive turbine aircraft deliveries in Latin America in 2024. The region is home to nearly 1,000 Citation jets and over 2,100 Cessna and Beechcraft turboprops, underscoring strong demand for Textron products.
The Longitude will be used for both personal and business travel. The aircraft seats up to 12 passengers and features a flat-floor cabin, fully berthable seats, and a walk-in baggage compartment accessible during flight. With a range of 3,500 nautical miles, it offers a full-fuel payload of 1,600 pounds and a maximum cruising speed of 483 knots. At 41,000 feet, the cabin altitude remains at a comfortable 4,950 feet.
Flight deck technology includes Garmin’s G5000 avionics suite with autothrottles and an optional GHD 2100 head-up display. Power comes from two Honeywell HTF7700L turbofan engines, designed for efficiency and reliability.
“With its class-leading performance, quiet cabin, and range, the Citation Longitude is perfectly suited for Brazil’s dynamic aviation market,” said Marcelo Moreira, vice president of sales for Latin America. “It complements the customer’s fleet with long-range capability, speed, and the exceptional comfort and performance expected from a Cessna Citation business jet.”
