European river cruise specialist VIVA Cruises is the newest member of Cruise Lines International Association.

VIVA Cruises was founded in 2018 as the first foray into tour operations for Swiss shipping company Scylla AG. VIVA now boasts an eight-ship fleet, including its own newbuilds VIVA ONE and VIVA TWO, with a third, VIVA Enjoy, launching next month.

“There is no better time to join CLIA than now, when VIVA Cruises is celebrating its fifth anniversary,” said Andrea Kruse, COO of VIVA Cruises.

“VIVA Cruises has a truly differentiated product for the European traveller, offering pleasant all-inclusive cruises to some of Europe’s most popular destinations – with a laid-back atmosphere and high-quality food and wine. Our main objective for the coming months is focused on the trade: we want more tour operators to feature and sell our products to consumers; so joining CLIA was a natural step for us.”

The partnership will enhance VIVA Cruises’ brand awareness across the industry, bringing them into CLIA’s wider community of cruise lines, travel agents and executive partners.

Pricing for VIVA’s European river cruises includes breakfast buffet, multi-course a la carte lunch and dinner, all-day alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from the entire bar menu, WiFi, crew gratuities and more.

VIVA’s current route map includes some intriguing itineraries on the Baltic Sea, beginning and ending in Berlin, as well as sailings on the Danube, Elbe & Modau, Main, Moselle, Rhine, Rhone and Seine.
