Swiss has 12 A330-300 and four A340-300 models, which are mainly used for long-haul routes to North America, South America, Asia, and Africa. The A340-300 models have been refurbished with new cabins and engines to improve their efficiency and comfort.
The flagship Boeing 777-300ER is the fourth most common type in the fleet, with 12 aircraft in service. The 777-300ER is a wide-body jet that can seat up to 400 passengers and fly up to 14,500 km, 8,950 miles. Swiss introduced the 777-300ER in 2016 as its flagship aircraft for long-haul routes. The 777-300ER offers premium comfort and safety features, such as a spacious cabin, large windows, mood lighting, Wi-Fi, and entertainment systems.
