Flexjet has signed a purchase agreement with Embraer Executive Jets for 182 aircraft, with options for 30 more, in a deal valued at up to $7 billion. The order, confirmed on February 2025, primarily includes Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 jets, along with Phenom 300E aircraft. The agreement also features an expanded services and support package.

This marks the largest order in Flexjet’s 30-year history and the biggest single purchase ever placed with Embraer Executive Jets. The deliveries, set to span five years, will nearly double the operator’s fleet. While most new aircraft will be based in the U.S., Flexjet plans to expand its European and Middle Eastern operations.

A longtime Embraer customer, Flexjet introduced the Legacy Executive in 2003, Phenom 300 in 2010, Legacy 450 in 2016, and Praetor 500/600 in 2019. CEO Michael Silvestro emphasized the strong market acceptance of the Praetor 600, leading to its expansion into North America in 2023.

Currently, Flexjet’s U.S. Part 135-certified fleet includes 138 Embraer aircraft, comprising Phenom 300s, Phenom 300Es, Legacy 450s, Praetor 500s, and Praetor 600s. The Malta and U.K. divisions operate Legacy 500s and Praetor 600s. Additionally, the group manages 163 Bombardier and Gulfstream jets across its global fleet.

This record-breaking Embraer deal strengthens Flexjet’s position in fractional jet ownership and luxury private aviation.
