Fly Arna, Armenia’s national airline and a joint venture between ANIF and Air Arabia Group, has reached a significant milestone by obtaining registration as an IOSA Operator under the IATA Operational Safety Audit program (IOSA). This accomplishment positions Fly Arna as the sole Armenian carrier to secure this internationally recognized safety accreditation.

Following a successful audit of its operational management and control systems, Fly Arna was awarded the IOSA certification, which remains valid for a period of two years. The audit rigorously evaluates the airline’s policies, procedures, and practices to ensure they align with and surpass global aviation standards.

Gayane Antonyan, Fly Arna spokesperson, expressed the airline’s pride in receiving the IOSA certificate. This recognition underscores Fly Arna’s resolute commitment to adopting the highest aviation safety standards worldwide. Antonyan emphasized that the achievement highlights the airline’s dedication to the safety and well-being of both passengers and crew members.

Fly Arna continues to uphold its pledge to maintain exceptional safety and service standards. The IOSA certification not only acknowledges the airline’s safety commitment but also showcases its contributions to Armenia’s aviation sector and the wider international air travel community.

Fly Arna is a new low-cost carrier Armenian national airline that was established in 2021 and started its operations in July 2022. It flies to nine destinations in six countries, as of August 2023. Fly Arna aims to connect Armenia with Central Asia, Russia and the Middle East, as well as Europe and North America in the future. It operates with two Airbus A320 aircraft, which have a capacity of 180 passengers each, flying from Yerevan.
