Flydubai Broadens Southeast Asian Reach with New Flights to Langkawi and Penang

Flydubai has announced the launch of its new routes to Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia, marking its entry into these destinations on 10 February. This expansion enhances Flydubai’s footprint in Southeast Asia, bringing its total to four destinations across two countries, including previous services to Krabi and Pattaya in Thailand.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations (UAE, GCC, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent) at Flydubai, expressed enthusiasm about the airline’s growing presence in Southeast Asia. He highlighted Flydubai’s commitment to connecting previously underserved markets and providing passengers with increased opportunities to discover the region’s beauty. With the introduction of daily services to Penang and Langkawi, Flydubai aims to facilitate more travel and exploration within Southeast Asia, offering travelers enriching experiences in Malaysia’s stunning destinations.
