flynas, the leading low-cost carrier in Saudi Arabia, has announced the arrival of two new Airbus A320neo aircraft, reinforcing its commitment to fleet modernization and enhanced passenger experience. The aircraft were received at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, with one arriving on March 07 and the other on March 14. These additions are part of flynas’s ongoing plan to introduce six A320neo aircraft into its fleet throughout 2024.

In anticipation of the increased travel demand during the holy month of Ramadan in 2024, flynas has proactively increased its seat capacity by 25% to accommodate over 1.2 million seats on both international and domestic flights. This strategic move is aimed at meeting the surge in demand for flights during Ramadan, providing more options for Umrah performers and visitors to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The increase in seat capacity highlights flynas’s ability to offer diversified services and a superior travel experience during one of the most significant periods for Muslim pilgrims.

This expansion and enhancement of services align with flynas’s strategic plan titled “We Connect the World to the Kingdom.” This initiative runs parallel to the objectives of the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP) and the National Civil Aviation Strategy, which aim to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques, connect Saudi Arabia with 250 international destinations, accommodate 330 million passengers, and host 100 million tourists annually by 2030.

The introduction of the A320neo aircraft into flynas’s fleet not only underscores the airline’s commitment to utilizing modern, fuel-efficient aircraft but also supports its vision to play a pivotal role in connecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the world, in line with the country’s ambitious tourism and aviation goals.
